Hello from the southwest of France.
We are well into spring and every mixed feeling that comes with it.
As usual April rains are in full effect and the sun makes an appearance in between large, dark clouds.
Everyone seems to have an allergy or the flu as pollen discharges float around in the air and sit pretty on parked cars.
None of these seems to be a downer though. People are out of winter hibernation and the terraces are gradually filling up.
The days are longer, and the plants are colorful with flowers.
The masks are off so the smiles are back.
I had hoped by April I would substitute thick sweater clothes for lighter textured materials like linen, but there’s still some chilly wind in the mornings and evenings.
So, I have decided to go with a cream-colored Jumper dress I bought from Mango.
A perfect outfit of the day for this weather because the fabric is thick enough to protect from the cold and it is the perfect length for the season.
This dress is made of 63% Polyester, 36% Cotton, and 1% Elastane. It actually comes as an oversized dress but I slimmed it down to a smaller size. It is slightly elastic and silhouettes the body perfectly.
I accessorized this dress with a high-heeled, brown knee-high boot from Steve Madden. I love the cut of these boots; they are pointy and very comfortable to walk in.
I finished the look with a brown Jacquemus Grand Bambino bag. With the straps detached, I carried it by the top handle for a daytime look.
Overall, this minimalist-inspired look is everything I love. It is in neutral colors that pair very well together.
This outfit is perfect for Spring, Autumn et for Sunny winter days.
